night before my birthday so i'm super hyper, a really lovely friend is totally down so I tried to help...
aparently it helped and i thought i'd write it down....

and sure this guy is a film star but in all honesty he cannot offer the same thing to hannah that you can, all the cinema tickets and stuff are superficial, throwing money around thats all good on the surface but if he doesnt hav the same amount of care and love for her that you have he has nothing on you! and i know its hard but maybe this has made you like her more because there is a challenger .
you my dear are making your life right now, you're at college doing the best you possibly can, you amazing at football and everyone knows that and its not a bad thing that its taken a back seat its just how things go atm. that boy is rich and famous but did shit all to get there fucking actor great, hes 21, will not want to settle for a girl hes just met, isnt as rich or like glamourous as he is (i dno i dont really know the girl so might be talking out of my arse) but not sounding harsh will he honestly care about some 17 year old girl he met at some party who he may have spent the night with in a month or so
you will be there for her, and you are there for her, right now because you still care about her enough to be upset by this, when its the right person its right. you dont need money to have magical romantic moments. one kiss, one look, one night in on the sofa can beat a million pound meal thats awkward and fake
you know its true mr and although its shit right now, you sometimes have to come through shit to get to the good stuff
