so its been a while since I wrote something but lifes been crazy, I'm not gonna start with music titles cos aparently I stole that off someone so i will stop haha even though music is amazing :)
after you read this listen to Wake Up Boo by the Boo Radleys SUCH A HAPPY SONG :D
All this half term I've been at Soldier Magazine doing work experience and working in the writers room which has been amazing. actually monday i was quite bored cos they didnt really seem to know what to do with me but then I started writing the reviews for the music and they're going to put that in the magazine! I'm actually gonna get some work published!!!!! They also let me keep all the new releases that I reviewed, which I could get used to haha.
I was also asked to write a news story and my first draft was clearly shit but then i spoke to Cliff the main reporter and he gave me amazing tips on how to improve and I used them and its going in the magazine too!!!!
You probably haven't heard of it but Soldier Magazine is themagazine for the entire of the British Army and gets shipped out all across the world so it is pretty big!!!
Tomorrow I'm going on a 2 hour drive with them to Salisbury Plain which is a big chunk of nothingness to watch an army excersise between british and turkish soldiers... i dont actually know what that is but the guarentee of fit squaddies is an extra bonus, shame i'll be covered in mud and in wellies lol
so hopefully after this week they will keep in touch with me and get me to do a few more things, they've given me an Xbox 360 game to review, which my brother was SOO excited about, and that doesnt have to be in for a few weeks so that good :D
I was told that my reviewing skills were "Excellant" and that they would "Pay someone to work for them and write that professionally!!!!!" talking hyperthetically of course.
But all experience is good experience, thats what i think!
back to ignorevous-ing as one diarest put it, a fictional diarest i may add, but one who followed me through my teen years. Georgia Nicholson aka books by Louise Rennison. AMAZING, BRILLIANT, FANTASTICO! and even by talking about them I turn back into an immature 13 year old. Me and my best friend were so engrossed in them that we labeled each other as the 2 main characters (She was Georgia the genius behind the hilarious diary and I was a mixture of Georgia and her best friend Jas, mainly because Jas was the sensible one with the long term boyf, bit geeky aswell) and the series of boys they encountered in the book e.g. Dave the Laugh, Sex God, Love God, Sexy Tom.. were all applied to the boys we went to school with a phrases like "Oh he's such a Dave the Laugh" came into regular use and spread to people who hadnt even read the books.
but alas we grew apart and now dont talk anymore but when we do share random annecdotes about Georgia Nicholson and her fictional escapades that saw us through puberty :D
Then the film was made..
bad move, although one of my fave films, it was no where near as good and amazing as the books :D same with most book to movies tho like Twilight, Harry Potter etc..
i will speak to you again after getting muddy with some squaddies ;)
love to all and to all good night xxxx

Marmite
There's something about listening to the arctic monkeys that just chills out any mood you're in and prepares you for whatever will happen next, whatever it will be. So i came in from college a little bit hyper for once rather than the usual 17 year old moody mood . But the hyper moos seemed to wind my family up even more so i thought to myself I'd crack out some arctic monkeys, their first album of course as that just takes you back to being young and farly careless.
So this blog doesn't really have a subject as its my first one, so i suppose its a tester for what i may write in the future.
A2 is literally a bitch! I now see that taking 4 subjects all with coursework at the same time was a baaad idea but i shall battle through due to my higher uni ambitions of Bournemouth. College, is a huge part of my life at the moment, has all my friends there, spend my whole week there and end up doing work for college when i'm not there. So if you had a bad college experience i spose you should stop reading now as the following posts will probably have alot of college content. I did that really annoying and embarrassing thing today, you know where you walk past someone you know and they look as if they're about to say hi so you just go HEYYY! *mad wave too* but they werent actually going to so you just look like a fool and they just quietly say 'Oh hiya' with a disapproving look to follow. I know too many people that I can't stop and have a conversation with, like i make friends then don't follow it up so i just have loads of aquaintances and then when i have to talk to them its quite awkward and all you can talk about is that one time you met and make the situations that happened funny even when you both know it clearly wasn't!! Which makes it more awkward. But I can be quite thick skinned so i just shrug it off most of the time :)
I don't actually know why I started a blog, I have had like trouble in the past with just having wayy too much to think about but thats another story, I've never been dedicated enough to write a diary fully. There has been the odd one, just cos I liked the look of the book or just bought the journal randomly cos it looked interesting but then I write entries for the first week or so and then stop and remember a month later. So I guess as I spend most of my time at home on my laptop I have more of an opportunity to write stuff and typing is just soo much easier than writing with pen and paper. I've always loved writing like since I was about 6 and handing five page stories to my primary school teachers to now wanting to be a journalist and the odd writing of my novels and stories. I really should crack on with my novels, I go to do it then say 'no i must do college work' but then do neither. I basically have a notebook thats falling apart now which contains up to 50 different ideas for different stories that I have just thought of randomly, for example i thought of one at a garden party, then another when I was on a plane to LA and they all span over about 7 years. Only a handful of people have actually read them, I think it took a year and a bit before I let my boyfriend to see them due to how personal they are. And I don't mean personal as in they're about my life or my secrets or whatever but just that they're my creation, from my head, something that I have taken the time to check then recheck and make as amazing as I can. But I know that I need to start up writing again and hopefully writing this blog to start with will give me the kick up the backside I need.
I have been told I could talk for England. Haha.
xx
